- Azure Virtual Network Manager (AVNM) is a centralized control-plane service for defining, deploying, and governing network connectivity, security administration rules, and routing configurations across many Azure virtual networks (VNets) spanning subscriptions and, to a degree, tenants. Microsoft describes a lifecycle pattern: define network groups, define configurations, then deploy those configurations to selected regions (changes do not take effect until deployment).
- The service follows a "group, configure, and deploy" model: network groups are defined, configurations are created, and configurations are deployed to target scopes or regions.
