Cisco User Protection Suite is a bundled, user-focused security package intended to reduce compromise risk across primary user attack surfaces—identity, device posture, email, and access to internet/private applications—by combining multiple Cisco security products under a single suite packaging and, according to Cisco, providing more unified administration. The suite aligns with Zero Trust principles for hybrid work and includes secure access (SSE / ZTNA / VPNaaS), strong authentication (MFA/passwordless), email threat defense (API-based for Microsoft 365), endpoint protection (EDR), and, in the higher tier, network access control (NAC).
Cisco’s suite positioning states aims to:
- reduce reliance on multiple distinct point tools by offering a consolidated bundle,
- reduce end-user friction,
- consolidate vendor relationships, contracts, and support channels.
Primary Cisco overview pages describe two bundles (Essentials and Advantage) and list the included products.
