EOL-driven migration messaging from Cisco has been used by some vendors and integrators to position migration or replacement services. Some third-party offerings reference Cisco EOL communications for similarly named or related proxy products; such references should be validated for product scope and accuracy before drawing procurement conclusions.
| Starting Price | Quote-based (vendor-quoted) | Quote-based (typical SP model) | Quote-based (typical SP model) |
| Recommended deployment context | Operators seeking Cisco-aligned TCP acceleration and integration with Ultra ecosystem | Operators emphasizing DPI-driven policy, traffic management, and monetization controls | Operators emphasizing network intelligence and combined security/optimization capabilities |
| Primary emphasis | TCP acceleration and inline optimization | DPI, policy controls, and analytics | Network intelligence, analytics, and optimization |
| Noted limitations | Limited public third-party validation; EOL/lifecycle considerations; TCP-only emphasis relative to protocol shifts | DPI effectiveness impacted by encryption trends; policy-centric focus | Regional differentiation and impact of encryption trends on visibility |
