01Common complaints

- If you need independently verifiable security posture upfront - If procurement requires publicly available SOC 2 Type II reports, ISO certificates, penetration-test summaries, and published security architecture, c-Systems will likely require private diligence under NDA to provide those artifacts. - If you want a strictly web-native UI (no desktop client) - Public support documents and installation troubleshooting indicate a Windows desktop client is part of the product footprint; organizations committed to browser-only endpoints (Chromebook/iPad-first) should validate the web vs desktop coverage. - If you need abundant third-party reviews before shortlisting - Compared with mainstream SaaS tools, the product is underrepresented on G2/TrustRadius/Gartner Peer Insights under its exact product name, reducing the availability of independent sentiment. - If your dealership is outside OPE/ag/powersports - Automotive-heavy, RV, or marine dealers may find better fit with providers focused on those specific verticals. - Publicly observable limitations - Limited public security and compliance documentation (SOC 2/ISO certificates not posted). - Limited public visibility into product roadmap and release cadence beyond older release notes and "What's New" pages. - No publicly posted uptime/SLA metrics. - Operational/technical friction noted in vendor KB - Installation and Windows security policy adjustments may be required for the Infinity client in some environments. - Roadmap / future features - No detailed public roadmap was located in the reviewed materials; buyers should request roadmap visibility during procurement.

Deal disqualifiers: what makes a POOR fit

Buyer requires publicly documented SOC 2 / ISO certifications and complete security architecture before shortlisting.
Buyer requires transparent, self-serve list pricing.
Buyer needs a highly API-driven platform with extensive public developer documentation.

Why some customers left for competitors (churn reasons)

Public sources reviewed did not provide clear, direct accounts of churn away from c-Systems. Given the limited presence on mainstream review sites, churn drivers should be validated through reference calls.

02Why they buy

- Dealer-specific breadth in one system - Infinity covers POS, inventory, service, accounting, warranty, purchasing, reporting, and communications according to vendor and trade materials. - Constellation Software affiliation - Acquisition by Constellation may be interpreted as a signal of continuity and vertical-market focus; buyers should evaluate implications for product strategy and potential consolidation across sister brands. - Infinity Cloud vendor claims - The vendor states Infinity Cloud reduces local infrastructure burden (updates, backups, hardware) and improves disaster recovery capability; these claims require validation via architecture details, SLA terms, and reference checks.

Why customers chose this product (based on available evidence)

Need for dealer-specific workflows across parts, service, sales, and accounting consolidated in one system.
OEM and parts-catalog integrations implied by documentation and partner lists.
Desire to replace manual processes and obtain standardized reporting and KPI tracking.

03Field reports

Important limitation (material to this report)

c-Systems operates in a vertical market and has limited presence on mainstream SaaS review platforms (G2, TrustRadius, Gartner Peer Insights) specifically under the c-Systems/Infinity product name. Search results commonly returned unrelated vendors or similarly named products. As a result, most accessible feedback is vendor-hosted testimonials, trade-publication coverage, or partner documentation, which reduces independent review depth relative to mainstream SaaS tools.

Vendor-published testimonials (excerpted and paraphrased)

- Clay's Power Equipment reported that after a large-scale power outage the vendor rebuilt critical infrastructure and restored backups, and the dealer reported being offline for under a day. - A dealer partner stated that Infinity's SMS feature helped track customer conversations and that the dealer perceived measurable operational benefits from using that communication feature. - Brighton Mower Service reported implementing Infinity several years prior and provided self-reported outcomes including a notable increase in gross sales over subsequent years; the dealer estimated Infinity contributed a modest portion of that growth. These are vendor-hosted case study metrics and are self-reported without independent validation.

Operational / IT friction signals

The vendor knowledge base includes guidance for addressing Windows installation issues (e.g., Windows Store install errors and instructions to allow installation from non-store sources). This indicates the Windows desktop client may require local installation settings that conflict with stricter endpoint security policies in some organizations.

Independent trade/industry coverage (more neutral)

Trade articles and older coverage describe Infinity modules (POS, unit/shop management, inventory, warranty, purchasing, A/R, A/P, G/L, etc.) and note a Microsoft .NET and SQL Server technology stack.
Some trade coverage includes historical installation-count estimates published in older materials, but these figures are dated and not product-audited.

Review platforms (G2 / TrustRadius / Gartner Peer Insights)

No clearly accessible, product-specific peer-review page for c-Systems DMS was identified in public searches on Gartner Peer Insights, G2, or TrustRadius. Buyers seeking independent sentiment should request customer references from the vendor and corroborate via industry contacts.

Case Studies

- ATS Outdoors (ransomware protection claim, vendor-hosted) - The vendor published a case study describing ATS Outdoors migrating to Infinity Cloud to reduce local-server risk and the perceived security benefits. No independent verification of the security posture or ransomware-prevention methodology was found in public sources. - Brighton Mower Service (vendor-hosted case study) - Key claims include a reported notable increase in gross sales over multiple years after implementing Infinity and an internal estimate that Infinity contributed a modest portion of that growth. These outcomes are self-reported within a vendor case study and lack methodological detail (controls, concurrent business changes). They remain useful as directional evidence of perceived value in workflows and reporting.

04Best fit

Company sizes (practical ranges)

Likely fit:
- Single-location dealers with a dedicated back office (small staff footprint)
- Multi-location regional dealer groups that need consolidated reporting and standardized processes
Evidence from product materials and trade coverage indicates the product is positioned for both single-store and multi-store dealer use cases.

Industries and verticals where adoption is strongest

Outdoor Power Equipment dealers
Agriculture equipment dealers
Powersports dealers

Roles and personas

Decision makers: dealer principal/owner, CFO/controller, GM/operations director
End users: parts counter staff, service writers/service managers, accounting staff (A/P, A/R, G/L), sales staff

Pain points and challenges the product addresses

Disconnected departments and data silos
Manual repair-order/work-ticket processes
Inventory accuracy and reorder decisions
Warranty processing and OEM interfaces
Need for timely management reporting and KPI tracking

Qualification criteria: what makes a GREAT fit

Dealer seeks a purpose-built DMS rather than an ad hoc QuickBooks + spreadsheets approach.
Dealer has sufficient transaction volume such that manual processes create staffing pressure.
Dealer prioritizes vertically specific workflows and OEM integrations.

05The pitch

What the product does (core value proposition in objective terms)

- c-Systems provides dealership management software (DMS) for Outdoor Power Equipment (OPE), agriculture equipment, and powersports dealers. The product family centralizes core dealership workflows (POS, inventory, service/repair orders, accounting, reporting, and CRM-like communications) into a single operational platform. - The primary product family is commonly branded as Infinity (often referenced as “Infinity by c-Systems”); some customer documentation refers to an offering called Enterprise/Classic. - The vendor also offers Infinity Cloud, a hosted/remote-access deployment model intended to reduce on-premises maintenance (servers, backups, updates) and to support remote access to the system.

Target market and market positioning

Target customers are equipment and powersports dealerships that need a vertically oriented DMS rather than a generic ERP.
Vendor positioning focuses on consolidation of departmental workflows, providing shared real-time dealership data, and offering industry-specific workflows and integrations. The vendor also promotes support with domain expertise in equipment dealerships.
