| Starting Price | Quote-based; contact the vendor or partners for pricing details | Staff time and development; no vendor license | Quote-based; contract-dependent |
| Best For | z/VM environments using RACF that require automation for administration, reporting, and governance workflows | Small teams with deep RACF expertise and limited budget; highly customized processes | Organizations standardized on Broadcom ESM products or choosing ACF2/Top Secret as their enterprise security manager |
| Key Strength | RACF administration automation, profile analysis, CARLa reporting, and available SIEM/event forwarding integration in some releases | Maximum control and no vendor tooling dependency | Full ESM alternative with its own model and ecosystem; strategic fit for Broadcom-standardized shops |
| Key Weakness | Niche applicability; operational skills still required; procurement and pricing require quoting; potential integration overhead | Maintenance burden; knowledge concentration risk; audit reporting requires significant effort | Migration and standardization costs; not applicable if organization is committed to RACF |
