01Common complaints

1. Need for transparent, self-serve pricing and quick procurement - iiDENTIFii appears sales-led; organizations requiring a clear per-check calculator and instant trial may prefer alternatives that publish pricing and allow immediate trialing. - Source: iiDENTIFii site is demo-led: https://iidentifii.com/ - Source: iDenfy pricing page is explicit: https://www.idenfy.com/pricing-plans/ 2. Requirement for independently benchmarked liveness performance with published methodology - The vendor provides performance claims (FAR/FRR and resilience statements), but public NIST-style or peer-reviewed benchmarks and detailed methodologies were not found in the reviewed sources. - Source: Azure Marketplace performance claims: https://azuremarketplace.microsoft.com/en-us/marketplace/apps/iidentifii1587108976550.iidentifii-remote-biometric-facial-authentication?tab=Overview 3. Need for broad global ID coverage and extensive document libraries - Organizations with heavy cross-border onboarding may prefer vendors with explicit, detailed lists of supported document types across many countries. 4. High sensitivity to vendor operational stability risk - Mixed employee reviews in public sources could be a signal to validate operational stability via references and support SLAs. - Source: Glassdoor: https://www.glassdoor.com/Reviews/iiDENTIFii-Reviews-E7030663.htm

Deal disqualifiers (poor fit)

Teams that require:
- Self-serve credit-card trials with transparent pricing,
- Published global coverage matrices, or
- Extensive third-party review validation.

Known limitations acknowledged by vendor

Public vendor pages emphasize benefits and do not provide a formal known-issues list.

Practical limitations inferred from available evidence

- Limited presence on mainstream review platforms reduces the ability to predict real-world support quality, edge-case performance, and implementation friction. - Public documentation on enterprise administration and security features (SSO/SCIM/RBAC) is limited, which may extend security review timelines. - Performance and accuracy claims do not include publicly accessible test methodologies in the reviewed sources; buyers should request detailed test reports and threat models, including device- and lighting-specific FAR/FRR breakdowns.

02Why they buy

Vendor-stated and publicly documented items (require buyer validation)

- Security certifications: the vendor states SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001:2022 certifications; the ISO entry includes a certificate number referenced in public materials. - Source: https://iidentifii.com/certifications/ - Liveness approach: vendor describes a patented 4D Liveness technique using a light-sequence reflection approach and presents this as a differentiator; buyers should request technical documentation and test reports to validate performance claims. - Source: https://iidentifii.com/our-solutions/liveness-detection/ - Scale and accuracy claims: the vendor states figures such as over 50 million African face match operations and specific FAR/FRR statistics; these are vendor assertions in public materials and should be validated with test reports and auditor details. - Source: https://iidentifii.com/ and https://azuremarketplace.microsoft.com/en-us/marketplace/apps/iidentifii1587108976550.iidentifii-remote-biometric-facial-authentication?tab=Overview

Where competitors differentiate

Transparent pricing (example: iDenfy) and broad global coverage (examples: Trulioo, Veriff) are alternatives that may better fit certain procurement models.

03Field reports

Important limitation: scarce third-party end-user reviews

Across mainstream B2B review platforms, iiDENTIFii appears to have limited or no easily discoverable product review pages in the materials accessed during this research. This limits the ability to quote typical pros/cons feedback from verified reviewers.

Third-party "customer evidence" that is not a review platform

While not equivalent to G2/Capterra user reviews, there are partner and customer pages and press articles that describe vendor use and positioning:

A major bank references the vendor as an identity authentication/IDV option and describes the high-level approach to verification.

Community/social discussion (not product reviews)

Direct user-review-style commentary about iiDENTIFii is not prominent in the community sources surfaced in this research window. As a proxy for category pain points, public threads about competitor flows show common friction issues in IDV such as false rejects, repeated verification failures, and support escalation.

Employee sentiment (Glassdoor) as an indirect signal

Employee reviews are not customer reviews, but they can indicate execution risk (support quality, delivery, turnover). Employee review platforms include both positive and negative commentary, which may indicate mixed internal sentiment that could affect execution.

Net takeaway: Prospective buyers are advised to place emphasis on reference calls, pilot testing, and contractual SLAs because mainstream review-platform feedback is limited.

1) Major bank (public-facing references)

- A major bank provides public pages describing the vendor as an identity authentication/IDV capability combining selfie, ID document, and government database cross-referencing. What is observable: - Presence on a bank’s ecosystem suggests enterprise relevance and procurement engagement. What’s missing / methodology gaps: - Public pages do not provide measurable outcomes (onboarding conversion lift, fraud loss reduction, time-to-verify), so ROI is not independently verifiable from these sources.

2) Large regional bank partnership — inclusion narrative

- Press coverage describes a partnership aimed at improving access to digital identity verification, emphasizing inclusion and reduced barriers. What is observable: - The partnership narrative identifies a use case focused on digital inclusion and fraud prevention. What’s missing / methodology gaps: - The materials are press-oriented and do not provide independent, quantified deployment results (for example, number of onboarded users, change in fraud rates, or time-to-approve metrics).

3) Vendor-hosted content and PR

Vendor-hosted posts and PR pieces cite context on fraud impacts and discuss biometric onboarding; such content should be treated as vendor or partner narrative rather than independent evaluation.
