LogicManager
Manage tomorrow's surprises today.

LogicManager is an enterprise risk management platform for organizations seeking to connect multiple oversight programs rather than automate a single compliance checklist. Customer evidence indicates that it can centralize records, assign accountability, and automate recurring work. Reported buying risks include reporting friction, configuration complexity, and uncertainty about renewal costs.

Download full report →Very small, lightly regulated organizations needing only a simple risk register: Broad ERM may introduce more configuration than useful value. The vendor itself acknowledges that some very small companies may not need ERM software.
Teams requiring polished, exact-format board reports without manual adjustment: Reporting criticism warrants a proof-of-concept using the required outputs.
Organizations without an administrator or process owner: Configurability is unlikely to compensate for inconsistent scoring, duplicate data, or unmanaged workflows.
ServiceNow-centric organizations prioritizing integrated IT remediation: Evaluate ServiceNow IRM before adding a separate system of record.
Security teams needing only recurring assessments: A specialist such as Isora may provide a more focused operating model; validate competitor claims independently.
Buyers requiring on-premises deployment, sovereign hosting in a specific unlisted jurisdiction, or mandatory certifications not evidenced publicly: Treat these as unresolved qualification gates, not assumed capabilities.
Budget-constrained buyers requiring transparent self-service dollar pricing: LogicManager’s quote-based process does not provide that transparency.
Reporting freshness and audit-history visibility: A low-rated customer describes delayed plan/report updates; the vendor attributes some visibility problems to configuration. Reproduce the workflow under concurrent-user conditions.
Formula visibility: A banking reviewer says some automated calculations cannot be shown directly in the interface without report-builder use.
Workflow display and respondent guidance: Reviews describe small workflow overviews, unclear action items, and inadequate training for some users.
API constraints: An open API is advertised, but rate limits, pagination, webhook coverage, bulk-update behavior, and connector-specific bidirectionality were not established publicly.
Scale: No verified maximum record volume, concurrent-user capacity, or point at which performance degrades was established. Unlimited licensing/storage claims are not performance benchmarks.
Security evidence: ISO certifications, SCIM coverage, and specific sensitive-data contractual protections remain diligence gaps—not proof of absent controls.
Roadmap: The vendor describes four-week releases and quarterly customer roadmaps, with themes three to six months out. No dependable public commitment dates for specific missing features were established.
Reliability transparency: An SLA page was located, but its embedded policy did not render and the attempted linked retrieval did not yield usable SLA terms. Contractual availability and severity-based support targets remain unverified.
Summary: LogicManager may be considered when the primary problem is fragmented, cross-functional risk oversight and the buyer values advisory-supported implementation. It should not be selected based solely on breadth, logos, unlimited-user language, or the 25% valuation claim. A purchase decision requires a scoped quote, protected renewal terms, independently checked security evidence, and a pilot that tests the buyer’s reporting, permissions, and integration requirements.
| Platform | Research snapshot | Interpretation |
|---|---|---|
| G2 | Generally positive overall; review pages showed a moderate review volume and page counts vary slightly | Mostly positive, with a visible low-rating minority; page counts differ slightly |
| Gartner Peer Insights | Positive rating from a moderate sample across markets | Distinct from market-specific ratings |
| Gartner IT Risk Management | Highly rated within the category from a small sample | Smaller, more favorable category-specific sample |
| Capterra | Highly rated on the platform with a small sample; customer service noted favorably | Small sample; full-page retrieval failed, but indexed excerpts were accessible |
| TrustRadius | Comparative scores appear favorable but written reviews are very sparse across pages | Sparse written evidence and differing counts |
| Trustpilot | Very positive overall but based on older reviews and limited recent activity | Older sentiment may be less representative of the current product |
These are platform snapshots, not a representative customer survey. Several visible G2 reviews were incentivized or vendor-invited; this affects sampling interpretation but does not make them invalid. Gartner pages also exposed repeated text and placeholder summaries, which were excluded from analysis.
Short quotations are reproduced within source quotation limits; longer responses are summarized.
| Perspective | Attribution | Evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Positive | Verified insurance user, G2 | “Organization, simple use and helps out when finding out where the policy is ‘stuck’ and who has it” |
| Positive | Governance/compliance manager, G2 | Found legal-issue tracking suitable for a planned litigation and outside-counsel-invoice database; was expanding its use. |
| Negative | Verified manufacturing administrator, G2 | “our rate increase was a staggering [very large increase].” The reviewer nevertheless praised the product’s recurring SOX-task automation and earlier support. |
| Negative | Operational risk officer, G2 | Reported difficult audit-history reporting and delayed reflection of plan changes in printed reports. |
| Positive | Gartner IT-services reviewer | “It is the one point solution to the entire risk journey .” |
| Negative feature feedback | Gartner product-page dislike excerpt | “Not very customizable Cannot handle complicated tasks Lacks certain integrations” |
| Mixed | TrustRadius research-and-development team lead | Praised “Cost-free unlimited advisory services” but listed “Delay in its deliverables to its clients” among disadvantages. |
The manufacturing renewal complaint is an allegation from one customer, not a verified standard renewal policy. The vendor later responded, attributing slow communication to its interpretation of the formal RFP process and apologizing; it did not publicly resolve the allegation. For the other complaint, the vendor said configuration could affect visibility and recommended training. Neither response demonstrates that the underlying problem was resolved.
An independent case-study page corroborates that Winona evaluated alternatives and chose LogicManager for integrated risk and incidents. This provides external corroboration, but the accessible summary does not independently validate every vendor metric or establish whether commercial sponsorship influenced the research. The implementation is historical, not evidence of current deployment status.
The vendor’s recent self-case describes identifying overlapping staff leave as a coordination problem and changing PTO policy. It claims unusually low defects and consistent release delivery, but supplies no baseline, denominator, or audited results. It is an illustrative workflow, not independent customer validation.
No well-documented failed implementation was established. Low-rated reviews provide mixed operational evidence, but should not be recast as complete project-failure case studies.
The claim has an academic basis: a peer-reviewed study using RIMS maturity data from the mid-2000s to early 2010s reported a modest but statistically significant association between ERM maturity and firm value.
This is not evidence that buying LogicManager increases valuation by the same amount. The research examines ERM maturity, not a randomized software purchase. Executive engagement and organizational risk culture are important explanatory elements. The homepage’s language should therefore be understood as describing an association with ERM maturity—not a product-specific valuation forecast or guaranteed ROI.
The following size bands are analyst screening hypotheses, not verified customer-distribution statistics.
This inference aligns with the vendor’s mid-market/enterprise positioning and documented workflow examples, but actual qualification should be driven by complexity rather than headcount alone.
