Narrative analysis

Areas where MyScript Notes shows relative strength: handwriting recognition accuracy and ink-to-text conversion are consistently cited as distinctive capabilities.
Areas where competitors have advantages:
- GoodNotes: broader digital notebook features, templates, and mainstream consumer packaging, particularly on iOS.
- Notability: stronger integration of audio recording and transcription/AI features for lecture or meeting capture.
- Noteshelf: positions handwriting workflows and may offer different AI/assistant constraints.
Windows considerations: vendor guidance indicates the Windows client is maintained but will not receive new feature development; this is an important factor for organizations seeking platform parity and active cross-platform feature expansion.
