1) Only monitoring and investigations are needed, not gating
- If requirements focus on investigations, monitoring, and case management rather than pre-execution gating, established analytics vendors such as Chainalysis, TRM Labs, or Elliptic may be better aligned.
2) Immediate need for documented enterprise assurances (SOC 2 / ISO)
- Public materials reviewed do not clearly document these certifications. If procurement requires these certifications before engagement, consider a vendor with public assurance documentation or request contractual assurances.
3) Unacceptable reliance on an offchain attester today
- The documentation indicates the Predicate API currently acts as the single attester. If multi-attester decentralization is required immediately, confirm capabilities and roadmap before proceeding.
4) Limited engineering bandwidth for integration
- Smart-contract-level integration and policy design can impose heavier integration and operational work than dashboard-only compliance monitors.
5) Strong community opposition to policy gating
- For some protocols, policy gating may be politically or strategically unacceptable.
