Qualys Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), also identified as Qualys Multi-Vector EDR, is an endpoint security application delivered via the Qualys cloud platform and deployed using the Qualys Cloud Agent. The primary capability is consolidation: combining endpoint threat telemetry and response actions with broader Qualys context such as asset inventory, vulnerability and misconfiguration data, and prioritization via Qualys’ risk context ("TruRisk").
Qualys positions the product to integrate endpoint protection with other platform modules and to reduce alert volume by correlating endpoint findings with exposure context (vulnerabilities, asset criticality, patching/misconfigurations).
