1) The main requirement is a basic dissolution filing
If the primary need is filing dissolution forms for a single-state entity with no investors, employees, or multi-state footprint, lower-cost self-serve options or direct state filings may be more cost-effective.
2) Formal legal representation is required
SimpleClosure’s Terms state it is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. For creditor disputes, bankruptcy proceedings, contested litigation, or negotiated settlements, engage licensed counsel.
3) Strict security/compliance gating exists
If a board or procurement process requires public SOC 2 Type II or ISO 27001 proof before vendor engagement, the absence of publicly documented certifications may impede procurement unless the vendor provides documentation under NDA.
4) Fully transparent upfront pricing is mandatory
If procurement requires published prices and the ability to self-serve without an assessment call, a quote-based approach may not meet those needs.
