Vendor-published case material and partner materials highlight benefits such as reduced mean time to remediate (MTTR), automation, and wide coverage. However, independently validated third-party case studies with specific, measurable metrics tied to TPM deployments were not readily located in the public sources captured for this report.
Vendor press materials cite broad market statistics and claims regarding remediation efficiency and time-to-exploitation. These claims are directionally plausible but often lack detailed methodology or independent verification in the cited vendor materials. Buyers should request supporting telemetry or third-party studies that substantiate vendor ROI assertions.

Download full report →Tenable Patch Management is a relatively recent product (announced December 2024; SaaS GA November 2025). Many third-party review platforms contain more feedback for Tenable Vulnerability Management and Tenable One than for TPM specifically. Module-specific reviews for TPM are limited in publicly accessible review platforms; much of the available sentiment is derived from community forums and reviews referencing Tenable’s broader vulnerability and remediation capabilities.
Given this limitation, the following summaries reflect community and TrustRadius feedback about Tenable’s vulnerability-to-remediation experience where module-specific TPM commentary was limited.
Tenable Patch Management (TPM) is an enterprise patch management module designed to prioritize and automate endpoint patching using vulnerability risk context derived from Tenable’s exposure and vulnerability management products. The product provides an integrated workflow covering vulnerability discovery, prioritization, patch deployment, and validation, with policy-driven controls for approvals, staging, pausing, rollbacks, and exception handling. TPM is provided in partnership with Adaptiva (OEM) and uses Adaptiva's patching engine, including peer-to-peer (P2P) content distribution to reduce central bandwidth and infrastructure requirements. TPM supports automated patch deployment with policy controls.
