1) When enterprise-grade security/compliance documentation is required upfront and the vendor cannot produce SOC 2, ISO, or similar attestations during procurement—this may be a procurement blocker for regulated or very large organizations.
2) When the resale program requires heavy reverse logistics, centralized refurbishment, or large-scale warehousing and processing—platforms emphasizing warehousing/WMS and large-scale operations may be more appropriate.
3) When minimal operational involvement is the requirement—peer-to-peer dispute complexity can increase CX and support load; organizations expecting a fully hands-off model should plan accordingly.
4) When procurement requires extensive third-party review coverage (Gartner/G2/TrustRadius) as a gating criterion—this vendor had limited accessible third-party B2B review coverage during this research run.
5) When the intended evaluation is a very small pilot and the organization prefers to defer to referrals to existing marketplaces or simple trade-in/referral workflows until the economics are validated.
