VESSL AI is a managed MLOps/LLMOps platform and GPU infrastructure layer designed to simplify the end-to-end lifecycle of training, deploying, and operating ML/LLM workloads. The product abstracts infrastructure complexity (Kubernetes/Docker/cloud provisioning) into YAML + CLI workflows, and includes features intended to optimize compute cost and utilization across clouds and on-premises clusters.
VESSL organizes the product around several modules:
- Run: execute training, batch, and inference jobs using YAML + CLI, including scheduling and vendor-described cost optimization features.
- Service: deploy models as scalable endpoints (serverless-style autoscaling, scale-to-zero capabilities).
- Pipeline: workflow automation and CI/CD-style orchestration for ML workloads.
- Cluster: a control-plane layer for provisioning and monitoring compute resources across environments.
- Hub: discovery and templates for open-source model workloads (prebuilt YAML templates and single-step setup options).
