01Common complaints

- When an organization requires a standalone specialist WMS with deep warehouse optimization features (directed picking, advanced replenishment, wave picking, etc.). - When an organization requires multiple independent third-party reviews and a strong public review footprint for the specific inventory module. - When procurement processes mandate published list pricing up front; ADDISON Handwerk pricing is typically provided via quote after vendor consultation. - When an organization prefers rapid, self-serve SaaS adoption with minimal onboarding and trialing; some community feedback indicates cloud UX and automation for related ADDISON components can require additional configuration and may not be fully self-service.

Deal disqualifiers (poor fit)

Organizations that require advanced, specialist WMS capabilities (barcode-driven directed picking, complex multi-warehouse logistics) without a need for an integrated trade ERP.
Organizations that require clearly published, self-serve pricing and low-friction trial options.

Publicly evidenced limitations

Pricing is typically not transparent and is provided on a quote basis, which can increase procurement effort.
Independent public reviews for this specific module are limited, reducing the availability of third-party user feedback.

Community-reported constraints (mostly OneClick context)

Some users report cloud application responsiveness issues and that automation tools require manual maintenance.
Integration tasks in some cases require export/conversion steps, which can increase operational overhead.

Roadmap / future features

No publicly available, detailed product roadmap for ADDISON Lagerverwaltung was identified in the reviewed sources. Buyers should request current roadmap information and planned feature timelines from the vendor.

02Why they buy

Product-documented capabilities

Automatic stock updates driven by delivery notes and invoices to keep inventory records synchronized with transactions.
Inventory counting workflows that support count lists, variance logging, and automated stock adjustments.
Reorder support including reorder points, safety stock, and suggested order quantities.

Claims requiring validation

Integration breadth and specific third-party interfaces applicable to the Handwerk Lagerverwaltung module should be demonstrated in a product demo and confirmed via an interface list; some integration claims are stronger in ADDISON tax/advisor product contexts than in Handwerk-specific documentation.

Areas where competitors may have an advantage

Competitors that publish pricing and explicitly document mobile/warehouse apps may provide easier buyer evaluation for mobile-driven warehouse workflows.

03Field reports

Important limitation: scarce public reviews for ADDISON Handwerk / Lagerverwaltung

Mainstream B2B review platforms do not appear to contain a robust, product-specific review corpus for ADDISON Lagerverwaltung or ADDISON Handwerk in the accessible results. Searches largely surfaced vendor pages and generic platform listings rather than independent product reviews. As a result, this section relies on: - Vendor-published reference stories (which have inherent positive bias) - Community discussions (e.g., Reddit) that relate to broader ADDISON or OneClick topics and may not map directly to the Handwerk Lagerverwaltung module

Vendor-published references (positive, marketing-oriented)

Wolters Kluwer publishes case/experience stories about ADDISON usage broadly. Those materials provide example benefits reported by customers, such as perceived usability improvements and support response characteristics. These accounts are vendor-hosted and should be treated as case evidence rather than independently verified outcomes.

Community reviews / complaints (representative signals)

- DATEV vs ADDISON discussions indicate ADDISON is evaluated as an alternative in accounting and tax firm contexts; these are comparative conversations rather than product-specific endorsements for Lagerverwaltung. - Some community posts about OneClick report perceived performance limitations and limited automation maturity, suggesting user expectations for cloud UX and automation may not always be met. - Integration workflows discussed in community forums sometimes describe converter-based approaches (e.g., export to a statutory format, conversion, import), indicating that some integrations are procedural rather than seamless API-driven connections.

App-review aggregators (weak evidence)

Mobile-capture app review summaries on non-enterprise review aggregators show lower scores in some instances, which may indicate UX limitations in specific mobile workflows. These sources are weaker evidence and should be corroborated.

Why customers choose ADDISON (patterns from available sources)

Preference for an integrated suite that covers back-office functions, including inventory tied to documents and collaboration workflows.

Why customers leave / don’t buy (inferred)

Need for transparent pricing
Preference for modern SaaS UX and performance
Requirement for advanced, specialized WMS capabilities not documented in the public feature list

Case evidence found (not Lagerverwaltung-specific)

1) AMS Brendel GmbH Steuerberatungsgesellschaft (DATEV → ADDISON) - Reported benefits: unified workflows and usability improvements. - Critical evaluation: Vendor-hosted interview likely curated; independent ROI validation is not provided. 2) 2013 partnership case: ADDISON Rechnungswesen + agilis-erp - Press release describes a rapid deployment in a specific scenario; this is a PR item and not an independent audit.

What is missing

No public case study was found that quantifies outcomes specifically for ADDISON Handwerk Lagerverwaltung (e.g., inventory accuracy, stock-out reduction, procurement lead-time improvements).

04Best fit

Best-fit company sizes

Likely best fit: 10–200 employee craft and service companies that:

need reorder thresholds and inventory counting workflows Larger craft groups able to justify managed hosting and formal training may also be appropriate.

Industries / verticals

Material-intensive craft trades such as electrical, heating/sanitary (SHK), and general building services.

Roles & personas

Owners / managing directors of craft businesses
Office managers and dispatchers
Purchasing staff
Warehouse-responsible staff
Controllers / job-costing users where the Controlling module is used

Qualification criteria (good fit)

Organizations already using or planning to use ADDISON Handwerk core modules and seeking inventory that is tightly connected to accounting documents for automatic postings.
Organizations that prefer German-hosted managed environments and are prepared to engage with a hosted/ASP model.
