Wolters Kluwer CCH iFirm AML is a cloud-based anti-money-laundering module designed primarily for UK accounting practices using CCH Central. It is intended to centralize AML/KYC workflows (identity verification, screening, monitoring, reporting, and audit evidence) and reduce duplicated data entry by pulling client data from existing CCH records and syncing outputs to CCH document management.
Core functional components described in vendor materials and user documentation include:
- Standard data checks: name/address/date-of-birth verification using sources such as the electoral register and credit-bureau data, plus screening for politically exposed persons (PEPs), sanctions, mortality, and adverse media with a pass/fail result and a supporting PDF report.
- Biometric KYC / IDV checks: the client receives a text link, scans an identity document and submits a selfie; the system performs liveness/face-match checks, document-tampering checks, and produces a report with pass/review/fail outcomes. The vendor states checks complete in a short timeframe in the UK flow.
- Ongoing monitoring: regular automated checks for PEPs, sanctions, and adverse media with in-application and email notifications and an audit trail for evidence retention.
- KYB (Know Your Business): company screening to identify persons with significant control (PSCs/UBOs) and produce a KYB report positioned for UK Companies House compliance needs.
