Organizations should consider alternatives when any of the following apply:
1. Procurement requires transparent, self-serve pricing and rapid adoption
- If immediate checkout, clear monthly/annual pricing, and a trial-first evaluation are required, vendors such as Aruba or Fatture in Cloud may be more suitable.
2. The organization is outside the OA Sistemi / notary ecosystem
- e-Fattura is designed for notarial workflows integrated with OA Sistemi; organizations outside that ecosystem may not realize the integration benefits and could incur unnecessary cost for unused suite functionality.
3. Procurement requires published security and compliance attestations upfront
- If SOC 2, ISO 27001, detailed hosting/residency documentation, or published security whitepapers are mandatory for vendor selection, the lack of public documentation will require additional diligence and contractual safeguards.
4. The organization has low tolerance for vendor support or billing friction
- Vendor-level reviews raise concerns about support responsiveness and billing disputes; organizations with high sensitivity to these risks should validate support SLAs and contract terms carefully.
