Vendor-published metrics (for example, median payment times for invoices sent via SMS versus email-only) can provide directional insight but are typically vendor-derived; procurement teams should request methodology details and consider third-party validation where possible.
This research pass did not extract detailed, independently authored case studies with quantified outcomes specifically for Xero invoicing. Vendor and partner case studies may exist and should be reviewed for methodology and sample details.

Negative (email deliverability / sender authenticity concerns):

Negative (workflow regression in the newer invoicing UI):
"We’re literally being forced to use a new interface for invoicing. They have removed some of the most important features from the legacy invoicing…"
Negative (availability/bugs impacting sending invoices):
"Just went to email an invoice in the new Xero UI, and cannot load the email screen."

Xero Online Invoicing is part of Xero’s cloud accounting platform. It enables small and mid-sized businesses to create, send, and track invoices and quotes; accept online payments via integrated payment providers; and reconcile payments back to accounting records. Invoicing is integrated with invoice status tracking (paid/owing/overdue) and bank reconciliation within the same system.
Core invoicing capabilities include branded invoice templates, copying recurring invoices, status tracking (including whether an invoice was viewed), and mobile invoicing via iOS/Android.
Third-party review summaries commonly note positive usability and bank reconciliation capabilities, while describing Xero’s invoicing features as functional but sometimes supplemented with add-ons for approvals, advanced AR workflows, or high-volume/batch processes.
