How we engage. Three services for different stages of AI adoption.
We provide three services. Market Intelligence examines a market. Vendor Diligence tests a vendor against the experience of teams using it. Build What's Missing develops a solution when available products do not fit. Your team's current needs determine where we start.
Starting
No central AI function yet. The stack is fragmented and the first proof-of-concepts are scattered across teams.
Scaling
A central team exists and is pushing deployments outward across marketing, finance, operations, engineering, and legal, against EBITDA-tied targets.
Operating
AI is in production. The team now needs to manage drift, costs, renewals, and model deprecations.
Mode 01 · StartingNo central AI function yet.
Teams have begun proofs of concept, but may disagree about results or who owns the next decision. Starting establishes responsibilities and a structure for further adoption while existing deployments continue.
We begin with Market Intelligence in the market relevant to your first decisions, then compare it with your current tools. We help establish an AI center of excellence with named owners.
What the first six weeks look like
- Market Intelligence informed by 24,000+ software products and 174,000+ deployment case studies.
- A working software inventory owned by your team and kept in your systems.
- The first two to three deployments, each owned by a member of your team and supported by Airframe's senior operators.
- An AI CoE structure co-owned with your team and able to support further work after the engagement.
Mode 02 · ScalingPushing deployments outward.
Your central AI team serves marketing, finance, operations, engineering, and legal while its queue grows. Many deployments carry EBITDA targets. Scaling distributes the implementation work across those functions.
Our senior operators work with the central team and the functions receiving each deployment. Vendor Diligence addresses buying decisions through recorded demos and calls with production users. Build What's Missing develops the workflows vendors cannot provide. Each deployment remains tied to its intended EBITDA outcome.
What the engagement looks like
- Weekly operator pairing with marketing, finance, operations, engineering, and legal workstreams.
- Vendor Diligence on tools being considered for standardization, including recorded demos and reference calls.
- Each deployment's EBITDA target, owner, status, and realized outcome recorded together.
- Build What's Missing for workflows unavailable from vendors, implemented in your runtime.
Mode 03 · OperatingOngoing support for production AI.
With agents in production, the work shifts to drift, cost management, renewal timing, and model deprecations. Operating provides a continuing cadence for those decisions.
Market Intelligence refreshes research on the categories you use. Vendor Diligence compares renewal options with what peers pay. Build What's Missing develops workflows vendors still cannot provide. Your internal team retains control, supported by current research.
What the cadence looks like
- Scheduled Market Intelligence updates for the categories you depend on.
- Vendor Diligence before renewals, including what peer teams pay.
- Build What's Missing for workflows unavailable from vendors.
- Regular updates on what peers at a similar stage are deploying.
- Senior-operator access for important decisions needing another assessment.
Underneath every modeA senior operator assigned to a named deliverable.
Across modes, we scope a senior operator to a named deliverable, typically over twelve weeks. That might be a market assessment or a vendor decision supported by reference calls. When the deliverable is complete, another window can address the next task.
Most engagements start with a report on a market you select from our taxonomy or name yourself. We examine its companies, then scope a specific problem. Buying decisions use Vendor Diligence. When available products do not fit, we use Build What’s Missing. Further engagements address the next decisions your team needs to make.
